Blades
High tough polyethylene (HDPE). Heat stability -50° to +70° C. Stabilized against UV rays for 5 years.In all types of blades the duralumin shaft stretches down to the blade end.
Shaft
A duralumin tube - high strength duralumin 30 x 1 mm (28 x 1 mm) of 380 MP in strength, anodised against corrosion. The duralumin shaft is covered with a plastic sleeve. The indivisible and two-piece paddles for kayaks have an oval index on one side A glass-fibre tube - diameter - 30 mm or 28 mm, the ends are reinforced with carbon.Grip
Duralumin shafts - made of tough polypropylene, anatomically shaped.Wooden shafts - made of hard wood (walnut, beech), wax impregnated, anatomically shaped.
Drip rings
Kayak paddles are provided with polyethylene drip rings preventing water from getting from blades to the hands.Couplings
The couplings allow the user to split the paddle into two or three pieces of the same length.It is made of calibrated duralumin (or glass-fibre) with a snap button and stainless steel spring.
Position of the blade on kayak paddles
We are able to deliver right-handed paddles - "R" - as well as left-handed paddles - "L".Blade feathers available are 0°, 60°, 70°, 80°, 90°.
It is possible to have two positions for the blade - 0° + 60°, 0° + 70°, 0°+ 80° and 0° + 90° on multi part paddles.
